Kano Times has hailed the successful defence of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) thesis of Salisu Ubah Kofar Wambai in Mass Communication at Bayero University, Kano (BUK).
Dr. Ubah, a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at Kano State Polytechnic, is also widely known as a social commentator and public affairs analyst on social media platforms and local radio stations across Kano.
In a statement, the management and editorial team of Kano Times described the academic milestone as a reflection of his hard work, dedication and commitment to scholarship in the field of Mass Communication.
The organisation expressed confidence that the achievement would further strengthen his contributions to academia, journalism and public discourse.

Yakubu Musa described Dr. Ubah as an inspiration, saying, “Dr. Salisu Ubah Kofar Wambai is the man who influenced my choice of studying for a first degree. I am proud of you.”
