The Chairman of Best Choice Specialist Hospital, Kano, Alhaji Auwal Lawal Muhammad (Dan Malikin Garo), has congratulated Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the people of Kano State and Muslims worldwide on the occasion of this year’s Maulud celebration.
Maulud commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Muhammad conveyed the felicitation in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Kano.
He commended Yusuf for his efforts toward promoting unity, peaceful coexistence and development in the state.
The chairman said the administration’s attention to religious matters and other development initiatives would contribute to reducing divisions and promoting mutual understanding among the people.
He urged Muslims to use the occasion to strengthen their relationship with Allah through increased devotion, prayers and good deeds.
Muhammad also called on Muslims to pray for peace, stability and prosperity in Nigeria, particularly Kano State.
He commended the governor for his efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the state.
He said the renovation and upgrading of healthcare facilities, provision of modern medical equipment and training of healthcare workers were among measures taken by the administration to improve healthcare services.
The chairman also commended Yusuf for his commitment to the wellbeing of the people, saying that the administration’s efforts had impacted positively on residents across the state.
Muhammad prayed for continued peace, unity and prosperity in Kano State and Nigeria.
He wished the governor, the people of Kano State and Muslims across the world a peaceful and blessed Maulud celebration.
