Professor Umaru Pate, Vice Chancellor of Federal University Kashere in Gombe State, will be the sole Nigerian participant at the 10th MCAP-BNU International Media Conference.Â
The event, themed “Bridging Divides: Media Literacy for Informed and Connected Societies,” is scheduled for February 18 to 19, 2025, at Beaconhouse National University’s Tarogil Campus in Lahore, Pakistan.
The conference will address challenges and opportunities in media literacy, focusing on bridging societal divides through informed communication.
Professor Pate will deliver a keynote address, sharing insights on contemporary media challenges and the evolving communication landscape.
His contributions are expected to enrich discussions on the media’s role in shaping societies, particularly in the digital age.
