Sadiq Gentle, a Senior Special Reporter attached to the Kano State Ministry of History and Culture, has died from injuries he sustained during a violent attack by suspected thugs.
Gentle, who worked closely with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s media team, was reportedly assaulted at his residence by yet-to-be-identified assailants who inflicted deep machete wounds on him.
He battled for his life at the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
