Hadi Attar, a member of Kano Golf Club, has won the April Monthly Mug, a competition organised by the club committee to boost the morale of its members.
Attar, a Lebanese player, returned a gross score of 86 off a 23 handicap, finishing with a net score of 63. His strong performance earned him a reduction in handicap to 20.
During the presentation of the Mug, held in the presence of the Club Captain, Attar expressed appreciation to the committee for sustaining the competition, noting that it plays a key role in boosting members’ morale.
As the winner, Attar will be presented with the prestigious mug, enjoy a reserved parking space within the club, and be exempted from paying the course entry fee for one month.
The Club Captain, David Emeana, congratulated Attar on his victory and assured him of the club’s continued commitment to initiatives that enhance its image.
He also thanked the Competition Secretary, Rufai Aliyu Marafa, for his contribution to the success of the tournament.
