Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have apprehended Buhari Suleiman alongside two other individuals suspected of illegal arms dealing.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, identifying the other suspects as Jamil Yakubu and Aliyu Abdullahi.
The suspects were reportedly arrested on Monday along the Kaduna-Kano expressway in Kaduna State.
“The suspects were apprehended after the police operatives noticed their suspicious activities and approached them to question them. A subsequent search was conducted, which led to the recovery of 216 rounds of 9mm live ammunition and one round of AK-47 ammunition,” Adejobi stated.
