A high-ranking member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, has declared that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state and his political mentor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, are poised to join the APC next month.
Speaking to Freedom Radio, Mr. Kwankwaso stated, “We have credible information that Rabiu Kwankwaso has indicated interest in joining the APC as they have agreed. They have planned everything and (governor) Abba (Kabir Yusuf) and his people would start joining the ruling party before Kwankwaso joins them later in May (2024).”
He further remarked on the political landscape, saying, “If people believe that Ganduje has committed atrocities for eight years, they should realize that Kwankwaso had done worse.”
He also called for both Ganduje and Kwankwaso to be subjects of commissions of enquiry set up by the Kano state government.
