Aisha Abdul Karim Aliyu has achieved a significant milestone as an architect and researcher from Jigawa, Nigeria. She is the first female architect from the Kano/Jigawa region to earn a PhD in architecture, marking a breakthrough in a field traditionally dominated by men.
Aisha’s academic journey began at the Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, where she completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Motivated by her passion for advancing her knowledge, she pursued a PhD at the University Technology Malaysia.
