The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) has opened applications for its annual tertiary scholarship scheme.
The scholarship, aimed at students attending Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN) in Kano State, Nigeria, offers full tuition coverage to both current and incoming students who meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria for Fresh Applicants
To be eligible for this scholarship, prospective students must:
- Achieve a minimum of 8 credits in their WAEC/NECO examinations. Additional distinctions at the SSCE level will provide an advantage.
- Score at least 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Be 22 years of age or younger.
- Provide a valid proof of identity and state of indigene certificate.
Eligibility Criteria for Current Students
Current students of KHAIRUN are also eligible if they meet the following requirements:
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Submit letters of recommendation from professors or academic advisors.
