Dr. Nsikak Akpan, a lecturer at Foreign Links College in Moro, Osun State, has embarked on a 150-hour marathon lecture in an effort to break the Guinness World Record for the longest lecture ever delivered.
The marathon lecture, which began on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the college campus in Moro, has already seen Akpan lecturing for over six hours as of the time of this report.
Akpan’s lecture, titled “Relationship between Man’s Environment and Health,” is being livestreamed to ensure proper verification for the record attempt.
The bold endeavor has attracted considerable attention as Akpan aims to surpass the current record for continuous lecturing.
