Former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the NDC in the state.
Kano Times reports that Abdussalam emerged after a major contender for the ticket, Nasiru Gawuna, accepted the Kano Central Senatorial ticket.
Gawuna had initially rejected the senatorial offer but later accepted it after consultations with his political associates and supporters.
