President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Saturday, October 4, depart Lagos for Jos, Plateau State, to attend the funeral prayers of Nana Lydia Yilwatda Goshwe, mother of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nantewe Yilwatda Goshwe.
This was disclosed in a statement on Friday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
According to the statement, the president will also seize the opportunity of the visit to meet with religious leaders across the North.
“After the funeral prayers, President Tinubu will address church leaders at the headquarters of the COCIN Church in Jos,” the statement read.
Onanuga added that the president would not spend the night in Jos as he is scheduled to return to Lagos the same day.
“President Tinubu will return to Lagos on the same day after the visit,” he said.
