The importance of economy in human life and his family–
The most difficult part of politics in any part of the world is how to influence millions of voters to give you their mandate to lead them to economic, social and peaceful coexistence especially the issue of economic security challenges and security of want. If human person cannot get what he wants in life hence, life will not be at easy. Economy is life. Without economic stability for human person, insecurity will set-in, healthcare will deteriorate and economic activities will be tremendously slower or to be in to economic meltdown.
This writing understands that human person is a symbol of economy. This means that human being must eat, drink, take care of family members, clothes, healthcare, education and more, especially in African societies where family welfarism system (be a brothers’ keeper) is dominant and practicable; unlike in the nuclear family societies in European Nations (Pertaining to the nucleus of a cell or biological relationship).
The influence of North in Nigeria’s political sphere especially the States’ actors and Foreign Political and Economic stakeholders—–
In political brouhaha the most important thing in the game is the number of citizens that will give you their mandate (it’s a game of number) pure and simple! Thus, the huge population in the North has been the strength of the region and influence of the stakeholders; the Ulamas and Politicians as well as Traditional Rulers the huge Population of the Youths/Women despite the differences in religion, tribes and economic background. Although the region is landlocked but it’s the food basket of the nation and (as well) feed the other parts of West African Sub-region. And again, the Northern part of Nigeria is a gravitational center of global economic interplay due to huge population; this means that it consists of more than 75% of the nation’s population and land mass. Agrerian, trade and services are the leading source of economy in the region.
Political Strategy and Communication——-
Politics is a game of strategy, communication and sharing of success and failure via information and calculation of the next available actions to be taken by the planners (he who fails to plan, plans to fail).
In political strategy planning, politician or political party must identify his/her soft theorem areas, battle-ground areas and swing areas. If a politician cannot do that failure is imminent or success cannot be assured. There are two types of politicians in both advanced and emerging democracies; theorists and pragmatists (one who acts in a practical or straightforward manner or one who is pragmatic; who values practicality or pragmatism) both are very very important in political activities. State actors, opinion moulders, economic stakeholders, youths and women are fundamentals in political practice.
