Abdul Samad Rabiu, the largest shareholder and Chairman of Nigeria’s second-largest publicly listed manufacturing company, BUA Cement Plc, penned a tribute to his late father, Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu, on Wednesday.
The note highlights Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu’s dedication to promoting peace through Islamic teachings and his renowned generosity.
Abdul Samad Rabiu expresses gratitude for being his son and reaffirms the family’s commitment to upholding their father’s values.
“We remain committed to supporting every charitable cause aimed at making a meaningful difference in the lives of people in Nigeria and beyond,” the statement reads.
The message concludes with a prayer for continued peace for Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu and a vow from his son to carry on his legacy.
Khalifa, who was a businessman and the leader of Tijjaniya Muslim Brotherhood, passed away at the age of 92 in a London hospital on May 8th, 2018.
