In a shakeup at the Kano State Internal Revenue Services (KIRS), Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has appointed Dr. Zaid Abubakar as the new Executive Chairman.
The announcement, made by Governor’s spokesperson Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, also included the appointment of Kassim Ibrahim as the Executive Director of the Revenue Board.
Previously serving as the Chairman of KIRS, Alhaji Sani Abdulkadir Dambo will transition to a new role as the Special Adviser on Investment to the Governor.
According to statement the new leadership structure is effective immediately.
