There is currently a fire outbreak at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery in the Lekki Free Zone near Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial nerve centre.
The cause of the inferno, which is currently raging, could not be immediately ascertained.
A video of the fire incident shared on several social media platforms showed thick dark smoke rising from what appears to be one of the tank storages in the facility.
