Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has re-commissioned Bamalli Nuhu Maternity Hospital after extensive renovations by his administration to address maternal and child mortality.
This was announced in a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
Speaking at the re-commissioning, the Governor noted that the hospital was in a deteriorated condition when he took office and was among his administration’s first improvement projects.
Governor Yusuf called on hospital stakeholders to maintain the equipment and ensure cleanliness to support effective healthcare services.
He also announced contracts for the renovation of all General Hospitals across the state.
During the event, essential medical supplies were distributed to hospitals across Kano State.
