The Emir of Gaya, Alhaji (Dr.) Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, has reinstated Alhaji Ibrahim Sabo Muhammad as the Village Head of Panda in Albasu Local Government Area of Kano State, ending his suspension from office.
The reinstatement was conveyed in an official letter issued by the Gaya Emirate Council and signed by the Senior Councillor for Administration, Wamban Gaya, Alhaji Dr. Mansur Ibrahim Gaya.
According to the letter, the approval of the Emir took effect from Friday, May 15, 2026.
“The Emir of Gaya has reinstated you to your position as Village Head of Panda with effect from today, Friday, May 15, 2026. We pray that Allah grants you the wisdom to lead our community with justice and protects us from the recurrence of such incidents in the future,” the letter read.
The council expressed confidence that Ibrahim Sabo Muhammad would continue to provide responsible and fair leadership to the people of Panda Ward.
Sources within the emirate said the reinstatement is expected to restore stability to traditional leadership in the area and further strengthen grassroots administration under the Gaya Emirate Council.
