Rep. Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa (APC-Kano) has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will not surrender any elective seat to opposition parties in Kano State in the 2027 general elections.
Kofa, representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency, made the declaration while addressing APC leaders and polling-unit representatives from Kiru and Bebeji Local Government Areas at a meeting in Kofa.
He expressed confidence that the party would retain the presidency and win all elective positions in the state, attributing the expected victory to its political structure and leadership.
“I swear to God, in Kano, come 2027 general elections, we are not going to surrender a single seat for them.
“I repeat, APC will not surrender a single seat for opposition parties,” he said.
Kofa acknowledged that internal crisis had previously affected the party but said efforts were being made to resolve the challenges.
He urged party members to remain united and intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.
He said the party’s political strength would be demonstrated during the elections.
“They will know our worth and I am assuring that this coming election we will teach them the lesson of their lives,” Kofa said.
