Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reiterated his commitment to supporting President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Adeleke stated this on Sunday when he received the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Ajibola Basiru, during a meeting in the state.
The governor assured Basiru that he would deliver Osun votes to Tinubu, insisting that his promise was genuine.
He said, “I don’t make empty promises. When I said we will deliver Osun State votes to our dear father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I meant it 100 per cent.
“Politics must be with integrity. We are all from Osun State. Let’s forget our differences and work for the President.”
Adeleke said his position was influenced by the values instilled in him by his father, whom he described as a diplomat and labour union politician.
He urged political actors in the state to set aside their differences and work together in support of the President.
