The Vice-Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai, said that the appointment of Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, as KSP Rector marks the right time for the institution to progress in technological advancements and infrastructural development.
Prof. Yakasai made this statement during a visit with members of the 1997/98 class of Master in Business Administration, Bayero University, Kano Forum, to Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, who is also a member.
He highlighted that Dr. Abubakar, a bonafide KSP alumnus, combined with the commitment of the Executive Governor of Kano State to educational development, will pave the way for rapid development at KSP.
Prof. Yakasai described Dr. Abubakar as a trustworthy and hardworking man who believes in achieving success through commitment and dedication.
He took the opportunity, on behalf of forum members, to express gratitude to His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for entrusting Dr. Abubakar with this significant responsibility.
Prof. Yakasai concluded by advising the Rector to engage all stakeholders and create synergy with other institutions and agencies to succeed in the primary mission.
In response, the Rector, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, described the visit as the first of its kind and an honor due to the caliber of the entourage. He appreciated the gesture, stating it would provide him with optimum courage in fulfilling his responsibilities.
He solicited continuing support and prayers, emphasizing the need for more collaborations to make a desired impact in KSP.
