Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, the member representing Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure in the Nigerian House of Representatives, has distributed a total of 45 million naira to his constituents.
This action was announced on Tuesday by his social media aide, Naziru Salisu Mato.
According to Rurum’s social media aide, the distribution of the cash gifts was part of the legislator’s effort to cushion the economic hardships being encountered by his people, specifically women and youth.
Hon. Rurum, who is the former Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, facilitated this gesture with the aim of fostering development and welfare within his constituency.
Reflecting on the impact of this initiative, Rurum stated, “It is our duty to ensure that our constituents have access to resources that can enhance their well-being. This disbursement is a testament to our dedication to uplifting every member of our community.”
Beneficiaries of this allocation include various groups, such as NNPP stakeholders, RAKIBU community-based organization, and Kwankwasiyya scholars, among others.
