The newly appointed Commissioner for Internal Security and Special Services in Kano State, Major General Muhammad Inuwa Idris (rtd), met with the ministry’s pioneer staff, including the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji DanAsabe Yahaya, and other directors.
In a statement by the Ministry’s Director of Public Enlightenment, Murtala Shehu Umar, the commissioner noted his first interaction with the team. He described them as essential to the ministry’s operations.
Major General Idris, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary and other staff, toured the ministry’s offices, which are undergoing renovation. He instructed the Permanent Secretary to work with the contractor to ensure timely and quality completion of the project.
Alhaji DanAsabe Yahaya assured the commissioner of the staff’s support and urged his colleagues to maintain punctuality and dedication to their duties.
