After his recent exit from the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, former Minister of State, reflected on his time in office under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Gwarzo, affected by the President’s cabinet reshuffle, acknowledged the experience of serving in the ministry.
“Serving as the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development has been a valuable experience,” Gwarzo stated. “I appreciate President Tinubu for assigning me this role and allowing me to contribute to the nation’s affairs.”
During his tenure, Gwarzo worked on addressing housing challenges and promoting urban development.He mentioned the progress made, despite the short duration of his service.
“Although my time was brief, I’m proud of the progress we made. I congratulate the incoming minister and wish them success,” he added.
As he steps down, Gwarzo reaffirmed his continued focus on Nigeria’s progress. “Leadership is about serving with integrity. I remain committed to supporting Nigeria’s progress, even outside government.”
In concluding his statement, he expressed his best wishes to President Tinubu, while expressing hope for the administration’s future.
