The Chief Executive Officer and Publisher of Prime Time News, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, has been conferred with the traditional title of Dan Malikin Shanono in Kano State in recognition of his contributions to journalism, public service, and community development.

The title was officially bestowed upon him on Sunday by the Village Head of Shanono, Alhaji Kabiru Isyaku, during a ceremony attended by dignitaries, media professionals, and well-wishers.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government, Dr. Mani Tsoho, commended the Village Head for recognizing Shuaibu’s impact.

“This honor is well deserved. Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu has consistently used his position in the media to drive positive change. His contributions to both journalism and public service have not gone unnoticed,” Dr. Tsoho said.

Shuaibu, who serves as the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Kano State and is a former Chairman of the Kano Correspondents’ Chapel, expressed gratitude for the recognition and pledged to uphold the responsibilities that come with the title.

“I am deeply honored to receive this prestigious title. It is not just a personal achievement but a call to further service to my community and profession. I remain committed to using my platform to advocate for development and the progress of our society,” Shuaibu stated.
