Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted three persons, including a pastor, in Bauda village, Maro community of Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
The victims — Reverend Anthony Lamba, a 50-year-old cleric of ECWA Church Bauda, Christiana Anthony, and Danlami Zana — were reportedly kidnapped while working on their farm on Friday afternoon.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, who shared the update on Sunday via X, the attackers stormed the farmland and took the trio away before help could arrive.
Security operatives were said to have been mobilised shortly after the incident, but the assailants had already fled with the captives.
Efforts are currently underway to secure the victims’ release, as investigations into the abduction continue.
