A chieftain of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Dr. Maryam Ringim, has urged women and youths across Nigeria to actively support the party ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying the country’s future depends on their participation.
Ringim made the call on Sunday during a mobilisation meeting with party supporters in Dutse.
She stressed the importance of women’s involvement in politics and grassroots mobilisation, describing women as a decisive force capable of shaping electoral outcomes.
“Nigeria’s future lies in your hands. Women and youths must rise and take active roles in political participation to ensure credible leadership and national development,” she said.
According to her, Nigerian women should register with the PRP and mobilise support for the party within their communities ahead of the next general elections.
Ringim added that the party remains committed to inclusive governance and policies aimed at empowering women and young people across the country.
“The PRP believes in inclusive governance that prioritises the welfare and empowerment of women and youths. Our strength lies in grassroots participation,” she stated.
She further called on party supporters nationwide to intensify grassroots campaigns and membership drives in preparation for party primaries and the 2027 polls.
Ringim expressed confidence that massive support from women and youths would strengthen the party and position it to effectively challenge the ruling party in the forthcoming elections.
