JUST IN: Ex-Kano APC Women Leader Habiba Yandalla Passes Away

Hajiya Habiba Garba Yandalla, former Kano State Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is dead.

Kano Times gathered that Yandalla died on Tuesday in Kano after a protracted illness. She was 65 years old.

Family sources confirmed that the late politician is survived by her children and grandchildren.

Until her death, Hajiya Habiba Garba Yandalla was a politician and community leader widely recognised for her long-standing service as the APC State Women Leader in Kano State.

She remained a central figure in Kano’s political landscape, particularly within the women’s wing of the party, where she played vital roles in grassroots mobilisation and strengthening party structures across the state.

The late APC chieftain was historically associated with the “Gandujiyya” political movement, supporting former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, during major internal party realignments in the mid-2010s.

A family source disclosed that she would be buried according to Islamic rites at her residence in the Hotoro Tsamiyar Boka area of Kano metropolis.
