Over 5,000 students have been matriculated by Kano State Polytechnic for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Speaking during the ceremony on Tuesday, the Rector, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, represented by Engr. Dr. Ibrahim Usman Aikawa, urged the students to uphold the institution’s values of “integrity, excellence, discipline, innovation and humanity.”
“He encouraged students to pursue their studies with dedication and manage their time wisely,” a statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs, Au al Ismail Bagwai, said.
The Registrar, Mukhtar Ibrahim Bello, congratulated the students and urged them to be good ambassadors of the institution, while officials also warned against examination malpractice and indecent dressing.
