Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has won re-election for a second term, defeating the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.
Adeleke, who contested under the Accord platform, was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday morning in Osogbo, the state capital.
INEC Returning Officer, Joshua Ogunwole, said Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger in the closely contested election.
