Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has visited Best Choice Specialist Hospital in Kano to assess healthcare delivery and commend its management and staff for their commitment to saving lives.
Yusuf made the visit on Friday night as part of his routine inspection of healthcare facilities across the state.
During the visit, the governor inspected patients receiving treatment and toured various sections of the hospital, accompanied by the doctor on duty and other members of staff.
He also observed the activities of health workers and assessed the quality of care being provided to patients at the time of the visit.
Yusuf commended the hospital’s staff for their dedication to providing healthcare services to residents.
He said private healthcare providers had an important role to play in complementing government efforts to improve access to quality healthcare in the state.
The governor said, “I commend the management and staff of Best Choice Specialist Hospital for their dedication and commitment to saving lives. Your contribution to healthcare delivery in Kano is highly appreciated.”
He stressed the need for continued collaboration between the government and private healthcare operators to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state.
As part of the visit, Yusuf presented a special award to the hospital staff in recognition of their service and dedication.

The governor also thanked the management for maintaining round-the-clock healthcare services and contributing to the well-being of residents.
Best Choice Specialist Hospital, located at Tal’udu Junction, opposite Sheikh Al Rayyan School, provides medical services through doctors and other healthcare professionals across various departments.
The governor’s inspection is part of his administration’s efforts to monitor healthcare delivery and ensure that residents receive appropriate medical attention in both public and private health facilities across the state.
