The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the deaths of two Nigerian pilgrims from Kebbi State in Makkah.
Tawalkatu Busare Alako, one of the pilgrims, passed away recently, followed by Muhammad Suleman from Argungu Local Government Area, who died after a brief illness.
Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, Executive Chairman of the Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Board, confirmed the news in a statement issued to journalists in Makkah on Sunday. He stated, “He died after a brief illness, and his funeral prayer took place at the Al-Masjid Al-Haram (Ka’aba).”
“We pray to the Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant his soul, as well as the souls of all departed Muslims, Jannatul Firdaus,” Aliyu-Enabo added.
The chairman also urged the families of the deceased to accept God’s will in good faith, emphasizing that no soul lives beyond its designated time.
