Ex-Jonathan’s CSO, DIG Moses Jitoboh, Dies

Former Chief Security Officer (CSO) to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Moses Jitoboh, has passed away.

Jitoboh, a retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police from Bayelsa State, died earlier today at Garki General Hospital, Abuja, reportedly due to blood clots in his lungs.

Jitoboh served as Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to Goodluck Jonathan during his tenure as Vice President under the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua from 2007 to 2010. He later became CSO when Jonathan assumed the presidency.

His career ended after his compulsory retirement following the appointment of the current Inspector-General of Police. After his retirement, Jitoboh challenged his removal at the National Industrial Court in Abuja, claiming it was unjust.

Details of his funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
