MLS Yahaya Kabiru Sani, the Zonal Laboratory Coordinator for Rano Zone, has congratulated Professor Abdulhadi Sale Kumurya on his appointment as the second substantive Vice Chancellor of Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila.
In a statement, Sani described the appointment as a major milestone for the university and the wider academic community in Kano State and beyond. He expressed confidence that Professor Abdulhadi’s leadership would steer the institution toward greater achievements.
“Professor Abdulhadi’s distinguished career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, coupled with his expertise in molecular biology, virology, and antibiotic resistance, demonstrates his dedication to advancing science and education,” Sani said.
He also emphasized the Vice Chancellor’s commitment to tackling health issues in Nigeria, particularly through his research on infectious diseases affecting male fertility.
“I am optimistic that under his guidance, Al-Istiqama University will continue to excel academically and positively impact the community,” the Rano-based scientist added.
